More about Jennifer…
I love my job! Having been a competitive gymnast and dancer and later, experiencing a life-changing accident and intensive rehabilitation, I bring a wealth of experience to the table. These experiences have given me great empathy and passion to stay healthy and assist others in their pursuit of optimal health.
With over twenty five years experience as a dedicated massage therapist, I am still passionate about the difference I make to each client, their families and beyond. I share my space with other practitioners, supporting our community to stay healthy and happy.
I have worked in clinics in Sydney, from two natural therapy centres, from home and as consultant to Ducati BEARS Formula 1 Racing Team. I use a range of methods to help achieve the best results, including simple advice for self-care.
Upon seeing a lack of targeted, effective treatment offered to pregnant women and those trying to conceive, I took a path honing my skills in this area. I am trained in techniques ranging rom ancient Mayan midwifery techniques through to modern approaches and research in the context of each phase of pregnancy, including in combination with IVF. These forms of massage are for all women, in all stages of life.
Beyond massage qualifications, I have a Sociology and Anthropology degree and qualifications in psychosomatics as well as regularly attending Anthroposophical Medicine and Ancestral Health Conferences. I’m fascinated in the whole person - the body mind interplay and how we can work with it. Our bodies express our internal experiences as well as influence them.
Most of all, I love teaching people simple and effective techniques to improve and transform overall health and happiness.
“In a way my body is like the body of the earth, which with its mountains, valleys, riverbeds and uneven topography, tells the story of its history and creation as surely as my body expresses the trials and creative changes that I have experienced throughout my lifetime.”
